Guidelines for Receiving Services

We are currently in our first phase of reopening. We will follow all state guidelines and begin to relax measures only when deemed safe by our state officials.

Here are the guidelines we will ask all guests to follow in order to keep our team and other guests safe. Please honor the following:

  • Wear a mask throughout your visit over both nose and mouth. For hair services, it is best to wear a mask that loops behind the ears, rather than ties behind the head. If you do not have a mask with you, we will have them available for purchase for $2. If you are unable to wear a mask, we will ask you to wait to receive services until masks are no longer required. Curbside pickup for products is still available if needed.
  • Keep personal belongings to a minimum. Leave jackets, bags, etc in your car and please only bring in what is absolutely necessary and keep it with you at all times - keys, phone, method of payment.
  • No additional companions may accompany you. Please do not bring anyone else with you to your reservation (including children, spouses, or pets) unless they also have services scheduled. If you have a caregiver, we may ask them wait in their car while your services are performed if appropriate.
  • Read through the health screening questionnaire posted on front door prior to entering the building. If you are currently experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms or within the last 14 days have been traveling or come into contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having COVID-19, please call us to reschedule.
  • If you are visiting up north from another area of the state or from out of state, or if you are hosting visitors from outside the area, we ask that you please wait 14 days from your or their arrival before coming in for services. 
  • Maintain social distancing in waiting areas. We may ask guests to wait for their service provider outside or in their cars if our reception area becomes congested.
  • Ask for assistance with retail. To keep the retail sanitary, we ask that you not touch items on the shelves or displays. Our team will be happy to get you whatever you need.
  • No changing into color t-shirts for chemical services. Please wear an older shirt of your own, no turtlenecks or collars. We will still provide a clean smock and cape.
  • Nail services will require a $2 fee for a personal use file and buffer. We will provide new files and buffers for a $2 fee, along with a paper bag for storage. If you bring your previously purchased file and buffer to your next reservation, we will waive the fee for that visit.
  • We cannot accept product returns at this time. We will extend our regular 6 week return policy for the time being, so please hold on to products you don't love until we are able to take returns again.

Our team will also be taking steps to ensure your safety! We will be adhering to the following:

  • We will be wearing masks throughout all services as well as gloves, face shields, and/or eye protection as necessary. We also have a dedicated set of work clothes that will be washed after every shift.
  • We have configured our space and our schedule to allow for proper social distancing between workstations or have provided physical barriers. Our service providers will only occupy every other station, we have modified our schedule to alleviate high traffic times, we have plexiglass barriers at our front desk, and we have installed glass partitions between shampoo bowls.
  • All team will fill out a health questionnaire daily. Any team member with symptoms or suspected of contact with someone with COVID-19 will be quarantined as appropriate.
  • We will have a dedicated sanitation specialist. This individual will ensure all high touch common areas are frequently and thoroughly sanitized throughout the day, as well as assisting the team in sanitizing their individual workstations, tools, and product bottles between every guest.
  • All team will wash hands before and after every guest interaction. While handwashing was already an integral part of our sanitation practices prior to the pandemic, we will be paying extra attention to this important step and ask that our guests do the same.
  • We have installed an air filtration system. The iWave air purifyer reduces pathogens (including SARS-CoV-2), allergens, particles, smoke, and odors in the air, creating a healthy environment without producing any harmful byproducts. 

 

And lastly, just a few other general changes to note:

We will not provide any beverages or snacks for the time being.
We will not have any seating in the waiting area.
We will not have any magazines.
We will prebook future reservations chairside as much as possible to avoid congestion at the front desk.
We will encourage credit card transactions only, and ideally we would like to store your credit card on our secure system for zero contact check outs.
